Cancellation policy & cancellation form

Consumers are entitled to a right of withdrawal in accordance with the following provisions, in line with New Zealand consumer protection laws. A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed:


A. Cancellation policy

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to cancel this contract within seven working days (in accordance with the Fair Trading Act and Electronic Transactions Act) without giving any reason if the goods are unused and in resalable condition.
The cancellation period is seven working days from the day on which you or a third party named by you (who is not the carrier) took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send a clear statement to us (e.g., by letter or email to: mail@samapura.co.nz) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice before the cancellation period has expired.

Consequences of the withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except any additional costs arising from a non-standard delivery option you chose), promptly and no later than seven working days after we receive your returned goods or proof of return.

We will use the same method of payment you used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed. You will not be charged fees for the refund.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you provide evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever occurs first.

You must send the goods back to us without undue delay and no later than seven working days after you notify us of the withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the seven-day period has expired.
You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

General information

  1. Please avoid damaging or contaminating the goods. Return the goods in their original packaging with all accessories and components. If unavailable, use adequate protective packaging.

  2. Please do not return goods using “freight collect” (cash on delivery).

  3. The above points (1–2) are not a requirement for exercising your right of withdrawal effectively.
